Frequently Asked Questions

We know you may have questions. Here’s how we’re building something that truly helps and how you can be part of it.

What is Gloria Jean Transitional Housing?

We’re a nonprofit based in Memphis, TN, established in 2019 to serve individuals navigating halfway and transitional housing. Today, we’re focused on providing supportive housing for veterans and adults with mental health challenges, helping them stabilize, heal, and rebuild.

We serve veterans and adults in need of mental health support who are experiencing housing insecurity, trauma, or a lack of resources. Some are coming from shelters, hospitals, or unstable living situations. All of them need a safe, stable environment where healing is possible.

Your donations go directly toward:

  • Acquiring or leasing a home or building in Memphis
  • Furnishing and renovating the property for safe living
  • Hiring mental health professionals and support staff
  • Daily needs like food, hygiene supplies, and transportation
We’re committed to transparency and will provide regular updates on our progress and use of funds.

We provide more than just a roof. Gloria Jean offers supportive housing, which includes access to:

  • Mental health services and counseling
  • Peer support and case management
  • Life skills coaching and employment assistance
While we are not a medical facility, we partner with professionals and organizations to make sure residents receive the care they need.

There are so many ways to support! You can:

  • Volunteer your time or professional skills
  • Help us furnish rooms or provide supplies
  • Host a fundraiser or awareness event
  • Share our mission with your network.  Every act of kindness counts. Reach out through our Contact Form or email us to get involved.
